My Little Lou

I would like to introduce you to my baby. No, not Kaitlin, our dog, Lucy. She is 15 months old, she joined our family on July 3, 2007. It is amazing how fast this year has flown by. Lucy is a cocapoo, cocker spaniel - poodle mix. She is the sweetest dog I know. I took her to work with me yesterday and she loved it. She slept under my desk on the floor. It was so fun to have her with me all day. Today when I was getting ready for work she was right next to the door ready to go with me. She had a day of beauty today. Here is a picture of Lucy sporting a "summer cut". Isn't she sweet!

Dance Festival

The 2008 Dance Festival was held in the Tacoma Dome last weekend. The above link will take you to a video of the Lakewood Stake youth dancing the Disco. The video was taken by a family in our Stake, so it's not of Dana, but she is dancing in this number. So is my nephew Spencer. We had three representing our family in the festival, Dana, Spencer and Daniel. The youth worked very hard. They started practicing in January. There were 11 Stakes involved from the South Puget Sound. Great job kids!!! Below is another link to the Beach Boys number they preformed.

Elder Johnson

Alex has just completed his first month in Portugal.
He has no complaints, so all I can say is he is putting his
best foot forward and working hard.

I love Summer! We just got back from a vacation/family reunion held in Heise Hot Springs, ID. It was great to see family and enjoy the sun. I went to the reunion with my pale Washington skin and came back sunburned/tan. It was so great to play in the water at Heise and Lava Hot Springs. Julie and Shaun came up from Utah too. That was one of the highlights of the trip.
